Please note that all trails are seasonal, running from 1 March to 31 October, every year. November to February is the rain season and inclement weather conditions can affect the topography of the area the trails run in.
Luvuvhu 4×4 Eco-Trail (4 nights)
Travel from Phalaborwa to Pafuri, through the Limpopo provincial reserves of Letaba Ranch and Makuya Park which are sectors of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park. Four nights and five days of camping along river beds, enjoying 4×4 off-road adventures over a wide range of topographies and experiencing a good variety of animal and birdlife…
Enjoy three days & two nights in the Letaba Ranch, a Limpopo provincial reserve that is a sector of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park – famed for sightings of elephant and buffalo. This reserve has an unfenced border with Kruger National Park. The route passes waterholes & camping is in the wilderness on the banks of the Baderoukwe and Letaba Rivers.
This is one for the 4×4 enthusiasts. This trail is fantastic for those who are self-sufficient with high-clearance, low-range vehicles. You will be required to bring your own food, drinks and camping equipment. There is however, the option for us to cater for you should the group request it.
We are now offering a limited number of departures for the Luvuvhu Special, a 6-night itinerary that includes 2 nights south, and 4 nights in the north. The 4 nights is Makuya Park only cover two camps, reducing ‘pack-up and move’ pressure.
A journey of adventure, mystery & intrigue and a route with unforgettable landscape, scenery and phenomenal bush-camp offerings! The Lang Hans Tour, a 4 night/5 day trail, is reserved strictly for self-sufficient (vehicle, fuel, firewood, food and water) 4×4 overlanders.
