The total distance covered will be 12 -15 km, returning to the Mutale Falls Camp each evening after the day’s hike. Guests sleep in the permanent camp’s safari tents with crisp linen and en-suite showers & flush loo.
The camp’s fully equipped kitchen with gas fridges, freezers and gas-cooking facilities allows the guide to prepare a range to tasty meals and offer ice-cold drinks.
The Makuya Reserve is situated in the north- east of South Africa and is unfenced on the western side of the Kruger National Park. Because of the summer heat, trails are only offered between April and September and take a maximum of 8 hikers.
